ST STEPHEN'S PRIMARY SCHOOL WITH ELLIOT TUPAC | MURAL COMMISSION | GLASGOW | 2015

The world famous Peruvian artist, Elliot Tupac travelled to create mural projects and exhibitions across the UK. While in Glasgow he created a beautiful exhibition at South Block and invited us to collaborate with him on a mural. We had worked with St Stephens Primary in Springburn on the Heart murals and wanted to donate another mural to them. Elliot's text translates as 'Education with no boundaries- Working Together' and Syrkus painted women from different cultures carrying objects to create a simple meal together. The mural celebrates the multi-cultural community that makes up the school and how hard everyone is working there to make it a success. We are very proud of this project and how the mural worked as a whole.
