BLACK LODGE | CURATED GROUP SHOW | RECOAT GALLERY | GLASGOW | APRIL 2011

Black Lodge was an exhibition from three exciting young Scottish artists, Estum, Macism and Soulrelics.

The exhibition represented the manifestation of a new subversive secret society - Black Lodge -embodying the philosophy, principles and approach that the three artists share in relation to wider notions of society, religion, culture and reality. These elements that have long been incorporated into their well-known mural productions were then taken into a gallery context; including wall paintings, canvases and large scale sculpture within an elaborate installation that was built in the Recoat space.
