Mark Lyken created a new body of work, a series of original paintings, a mural and a piece of music that he describes as “Abstract Mediations on the Digital World” during a residency at Recoat Gallery.
His first solo show entitled “The Loneliness Machines” explores his own and other’s feelings on our growing reliance and usage of social media websites and the impact on our “real” relationships.
