ILLUSTRATED LOVE AFFAIR | DUO SHOW | RECOAT GALLERY | GLASGOW | AUG 2012

Illustrated Love Affair was the first duo show from Lucy MacLeod and Dwayne Bell, two of Scotland's leading Illustrators.

The duo put their mutual obsessions of mid-20th century life style illustration, pulp fiction covers, vintage comic books and photography to good use; they combined visual forces, spawning a new collection of individual and collaborative works.

The exhibition marked their renewed love affair with commercial illustration and celebrated “real honest to goodness mark-making”.
